Restore AllHide UnarchivedIf you can see they have a gun maybe, otherwise enjoy prison
Taking the door won’t prevent future attacks on others.
Evil is not overcome by fleeing from it.
Lol and its not overcome by running over a deadbeat. Tf are you on about? You really think murdering that guy makes the world sunshine and rainbows?
You should look up the definition of murder. It wouldn't apply in this case.
Running over a man for punching your mirror seems to fit 3rd degree.
Manslaughter (Often called Third-Degree Murder) Definition: An unintentional killing resulting from an unlawful act or criminal negligence, lacking intent to kill. Examples: Firing a gun carelessly in public, leading to an accidental death. Sentencing: Less severe than murder but still serious, as it involves a culpable (blameworthy) killing.
Good lawyer could even argue 2nd degree.
See how's there's no element for self-defense? That's because you're looking in the wrong statute. Somewhere in the PC you found that definition in, there is another area that discusses self-defense and the contexts in which it can be an affirmative defense.
You'd also need to find the penal code for the location in the OP vid to make sure all elements were there.
The broader point is that you not only don't know what the fuck you're talking about, but you're defending a person who instigated and demolition derby on a public freeway, exited their vehicle in traffic and then proceeded to try to assault the driver.
If you don't know how self-defense laws work, maybe go find a situation with context you're more familiar with to run your fucking head about. Until then, maybe keep the "OMG the murdering murderers were muderous!!" bull shit to yourself.
That would be wrong if you were running over somebody for punching your mirror in a random parking lot when you weren’t in the car. However, I’m suggesting that they run over the man that just aggressively stopped them on a freeway, trying to block their exit, and aggressively exited his vehicle and is coming towards them with violent intent. You’re intentionally downplaying the actions of the violent individual. I don’t know if it’s because you like to power trip and try to do the same thing in traffic, but if the reactions in this sub are any lesson to you, don’t try that unless you’re okay with it being your last action.
Ah another certified armchair lawyer. Where would Reddit be without you?
Right, because you have be a lawyer to look up or understand how murder works. Couldn't I also say the exact same thing to you? Fellow ArMcHaIr LaWyEe. What credentials do you have that makes your opinion correct and mine wrong? Did you use the lawyers only wiki?
Yes

Hide UnarchivedYou never know what the dudes gonna do once he walks up to your window, he could pull a gun or anything else.
A hero complex doesn’t justify murder, loser
Is it murder if you're being attacked and accidently mow down your attacker while running for your life?
I don't think so.
Right? Cops do it all the time, if you are scared of your life and some angry dude is pulling in the middle of the highway to confront you, what if they have a gun. At this point it's proven the attacker is unreasonable, unhinged and unpredictable. I would try to put him back in his car with my car.
At least you’d have that lil bit of personal reassurance to remind yourself while you sit in a jail cell for the next year as a jury decides whether or not they think it was justified.
I'll be judged by 12 instead of csrried by s 6 any day. You block my car, get out, come at me like that, you've already shown me your intentions aren't good, I fear for my life and GTFO. If you're in the way of me fleeing, well, shouldn't have gotten out of your car and done that.
He's punching a mirror not shooting a gun or pulling a knife. So yeah, pretty much textbook murder.
