I vote for /u/poiyurt for "Griftomancy." Really well done, made me want to read more.

Second is "Cephas and the No Choicers." I also voted for this one in the first round, still one of the stronger chapters here.

Third is "I Could Read Minds on a Friday." Quite funny, but also an interesting idea with a lot of room for development.

I guess in particular, I really liked how you developed interesting characters with complex relationships between them, but managed this without giving away too much about them right at the beginning.

Also, the three laws of magic was a solid bit of world building. Rather than flooding us with a random array of details about how magic worked in your world, you just gave us three rules, but rules with profound implications. Ideally, one would be able to read the entire rest of the book without having to be told anything else about the functioning of magic in your world.

I hope I get to find out what happens in the rest of it.
