Maaan, all people need on reddit is one downvote lol. They see a downvote, they read the comment in the tone required for them to be angry abt the comment, and then they add another downvote lol. I've been paying attention to it recently after someone else pointed it out to me in a thread like this, and it's effected the way I interact with people on here quite a bit.

I mean, straight up, I've left multiple comments on this post that can all be boiled down to the same gist, and some have a lot of upvotes and some have a lot of downvotes. "Don't be an asshole for no reason" is a controversial opinion apparently 🤷‍♀️

But yeah, the lack of reading comprehension is definitely a part of it lmao.
