My god, dude... fat people don't deserve to be mocked and harassed for being fat. The way another person looks is something that has 0 effect on you and your life. Fat people are fat for a variety of reasons- I, myself, have PCOS, and in order to be a weight someone like you would likely consider acceptable, I developed an eating disorder as a teen. I had to literally starve myself. "Healthy" looks different on different people. I'm about ~50lbs overweight, and I'm healthy, and I think my doctors and dietician have a better idea of that than some reddit rando lmao.
Obesity DOES kill a lot of people- but first of all, neither of the people in this photo are obese, and second of all, people don't just... become obese because they're lazy and like to eat lmao. Obesity is indicative of other underlying things that need treatment. That's a known thing by medical professionals.
And yeah, sometimes people are fat - not obese - because they like to eat. Who fucking cares? Why do you think that makes it okay to be a piece of shit to them? Why do you think it makes it okay to be a piece of shit to anyone because of how they look?

OP is making post about meeting other cosplayers, they're not promoting obesity or anything. Do you see smokers in the street and tell them to stop smoking and make fun of them? You don't, just because you're behind a screen doesn't mean that you can be an jerk to people minding their business.
And about your health condition improving, good for you, really. But you cannot apply your situation to everyone and assume stuff about them, you know? Maaan, all people need on reddit is one downvote lol. They see a downvote, they read the comment in the tone required for them to be angry abt the comment, and then they add another downvote lol. I've been paying attention to it recently after someone else pointed it out to me in a thread like this, and it's effected the way I interact with people on here quite a bit.
