I can't understand a company trying to mess with GDPR. I work at an office where some coworkers handle GDPR requests, and they take this as seriously as it warrants because delays or mistakes can cost a ton.
GDPR is a mythical beast that people don't seem to understand as well. I've worked at companies that does things way beyond what GDPR requires just because they have not bothered to actual learn what it means.
I would 100% agree with you on any other website.
This is Reddit, where the CEO literally has gone and edited users post without their knowledge.
This isn’t real life or a real company where normal rules apply.
While I 99.99% believe you are correct, you should never guarantee such a thing on Reddit.
