so there is a method to the madness
Yea there is, I used to do it a decent bit a while back when I was trying to put on weight. Had a hard time getting my calorie intake up enough, so I drank that. It's not a lot of calories, but it adds a bit.
When my boys were little, they drank soooo much milk. Even back when we weren’t paying an arm and a leg for milk(or everything) it was quite the expense and just annoyance of having to go out and buy it constantly. I made a remark to their pediatrician about this and he says “Oh! Well, their dad is gigantic(he’s 6’5”), they’re probably going to be as well. They’re craving the calcium and calories. Go with powered: more calcium and you can get a huge amount for almost nothing and just make up a batch whenever.” Best advice ever and when I learned about the more calcium thing. Unfortunately, powdered milk is super expensive now. It’s like lobster: used to be the poor man food, then it became desirable and therefor expensive due to weight lifters and such. Btw, doc was right about their heights. One is 6’4” and I think might still have an inch or two to go, the other is 6’2”, and the last one is 6’0” but he’s still growing lol.
Edit: wrong “their”
