You will receive compensation which I believe is £8 a day for every day your experience loss of service which will come from openreach themselves. EE should also provide to with a hybrid connect which will run off the 4G EE network.
The EE network here is awful, and not helped by the thick brick walls. WiFi calling is a lifesaver unless you fancy standing outside to have a conversation.
And to top it all off I’ve just realised the installation wasn’t done where I wanted it and so now I’ll have to go buy a longer CAT5 cable to plug the router in. 🤦🏻♂️
They’ve EE fella said it’s £6.50 per day but something tells me Openreach will wiggle out of that one.
I’ve annoyingly seen loads of their vans today too. It’s like the universe reminded me of it all day then booted us in the knackers at the end of the day. 😆
It’s frustrating however openreach will want to get it done as soon as they can as they do lose money. Most of the time you don’t get to pick where the placement of the ONT
