I’m someone with no necessary opposition to guns, but I don’t understand the fascination with them, nor the desire to own them for anything other than utilitarian purposes, and fittingly enough, don’t find them interesting in the least.
Is this your first gun? I don’t really get the “make it look cool” bit, and unless you’re an avid range person, what’s the deal with the plethora of accessories?
Gun came in a bundle with everything Custom gun, rose gold accents, flat face trigger, safety, compensated barrel, red dot optic, etc. It even came with a $200 electronic gun safe. A whole SIG SAUER bundle when they collaborated with a professional woman shooter, in hopes to get more women like me into guns.
Only thing I added personally was the light.
Search up "P365 ROSE BUNDLE" and you will see what I am talking about.
And yeah guns are cool, this one is especially cool to look at since its so pretty.
This is my 2nd gun. First gun was a budget cheap taurus G2C, so I decided to go all out this time so I will never need to buy a handgun again. This is already fully kitted out from factory, so I have more trust in it vs if I was doing aftermarket mods myself. Hopefully that all makes sense.
And yes I love going to the range, its super fucking fun to shoot, I would do it twice a week if I have unlimited funds lol but ammo is expensive.
Guns are cool and this gun is particularly pretty. Rose gold accents especially.
For many, guns are just an engineering marvel. They can be used for good and for bad and have fascinating history and clever engineering behind them.
Yeah, that’s admittedly something I just don’t get. Things like cars or other complex machines that could be described as engineering marvels simply don’t interest me. I’m much more a fan of the abstract vs the mechanical. Not a criticism of those that enjoy the mechanical, just something that’s not for me.
This is basically my opinion
I’d like to get into parts but other than that it’s a tool for a very very very specific problem
Edit: oh no! Redditors don’t like my personal reasons for wanting gun! What will I do??
How do you know she doesn't know what she's doing?
I’m only upvoting cause I thought you were gonna say “cause anyone who owns guns has no idea what they’re doing”. But instead you gave a reason. I don’t agree. But a reason earns an upvote.
