One more superhero for the impossibly colossal Avengers 8 or so final battle scene.

Isn't the next great event supposed to be Secret Wars? I really hope Marc and Layla are somehow involved.

I thought the next big myth arc deals with Kang.

I would assume that Kang will be the next Avengers (or Secret Avengers, Defenders, however they wanna label their next team-up movie) villain.

Secret Wars will be the Infinity War/Endgame with all the multiverse stuff going on.

At least thats my prediction. Im biased because I really really want to see the Illuminati dealing with the incursions in the MCU.

Kang is on the same level as Thanos when it comes to Avengers enemies though. He is definitely more of a massive 3 phase myth arc villain than a one and done type.

Maybe Kang will take over Dooms role in Secret Wars then? I would hate that but it would make sense if they don't introduce Doom soon.

I don't think we'll get Doom till an official FF film happen. Of course, I could be wrong and he could totally show up in MoM

There's an FF movie in the works but who knows if Doom will appear.

Who wants F4 without Doom at this point? Anyone?

Makes more sense that they introduce Doom as a third party. Make him powerful, but have it made clear that he is dealing with his own shit and does not care about anything outside of Latveria (minus mystical shenanigans when he's plotting something there.)

That way you can build him up, so when you need an antagonistic Doom it's less "This is Dr. Doom, he's evil!" and more "Oh, shit, Dr. Doom wants all of the vibranium/ is making a deal with Kang/ has a bonkers theory that a rogue faction of Skrulls are trying to conquer Earth!"

They is multiple kangs, like they never end and we seen one be killed so maybe we see another that the avengers defeat with an end credit see another Kang.

Like the 3rd Kang influenced the 2nd to fight the avengers so he has a better understanding of them or they won't expect him.

My current prediction just based on a hunch is that they'll follow the same structure as the previous Avengers movies. Two "small" Avengers movies with a more limited roster followed by a bombastic two-part finale featuring every damn hero you can think of. You probably got floods of dopamine from the number of characters in the final charge of Endgame, but think of how fast that roster's expanding. Secret Wars finale, assuming it's done well as usual, will render you totally blind from the tears of joy.

I hope it has Kodos too

In the comics, Secret Wars takes place after the multiverse is destoryed, so you can' really be alive and not be involved.

I think they'll use that multiversal destruction for a similar hook as Infinity War, since I feel like you have to top that destruction and dramatic stakes, followed by some form of Battleworld. Maybe a long shot but it would be really cool if literally the entire multiverse of every Marvel media were temporarily destroyed. It might just appear as a brief glitch in reality to the other universes' residents as they get restored in the end, but imagine if it affected even the 616 comics.

I have a feeling Phase 4 will be Multiverse and Phase 5 will be 'the gods' whatever that ends up meaning. Like maybe mortals just absolutely borked the multiverse so incredibly bad the gods have to step in and 'fix' things and it becomes an even bigger issue between mortals and gods.

Kang is overwhelmingly OP but he's still a mortal in any universe or timeline.

Gods are.....gods.

Edit: Saw it this afternoon. I think my theory stands for the first part. TBD on the gods part.

I think in about 3 months there's gonna be a lot less gods lying around
