Trump is after Greenland and Panama. You don't actually think he would let a state secede on his watch. Even if the coastal states did pull this off, how long do you think it would take for the current version of the GOP to decide they wanted it back? Fascism isn't going to be content with what they already have.

NY won't go. North of Poughkeepsie has pockets of sanity but there's far too much MAGA. If downstate splintered off, it'd be a different story - and completely screw the rest of the state, financially.
