Yep, I love Glasgow and a lot of the people are generally very friendly and helpful.
But there's a definite edge and lack of basic respect in public transport/supermarkets /the streets that I don't really encounter elsewhere. But I tend to not say it for fear of people thinking you're looking down on them.
