Cops like this need to be put back into civilian life. They're dangerous and give such a bad name to the few good ones wearing a badge.
I mean… I agree, but cops are civilians. Just civilians who are given total and unchecked authority to do whatever they want to whomever they want without concern of consequences.

Two best friends I went to high school with are now firefighters. One of them is a chauvinistic asshole and absolutely loves his job and superiors. The other is a decent human being and hates working with what he describes as “the good old’ boys.” He regularly has difficulty at work because of the antiquated way his authority figures think and behave. Seems the military complex is seeping into every public service job.
