It’s time for some new Chelsea legends to be made. With the exception of Reece, I never felt the group of young players we had were going to produce any.
With Azpi leaving, right after Mount leaves, it’s a good opportunity to point out that Chelsea legends don’t always come from the academy. I think we can instill that fight into this new group of young players. Already see it in Enzo.
Its too early to say legends, Enzo is really mature player considering his age, he'll have great leadership impact in the years to come, but you never know how these South American players (or any player) in general will react when you get an offer from Real Madrid ans Barcelona.
I said that the last season, Reece se is the only player I can see staying here for long time and that I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't bail on us, all others I'm not really sure.
African/French players are also very loyal players once they find a second home so hopefully we can be that for Wes, Badi, Jackson, Datro etc
Actually they almost never come from our academy. Last was jt i think.. Thats why thinking every academy player will turn into salah or kdb is plain stupid.
Most of our legends from the last 20 years have actually been foreign players
