Going to be frank, the decision to rebuild the whole video player from the ground up only for it to function completely different from what it used to, and yet still commit to this new and awkward fashion has settled it for me. I’m gonna delete the official app and opting to use Apollo from now on. I mean really the feedback has been loud and clear as to why we preferred the old style. I get having to build a new one, I have zero clue as to why you need to reinvent the wheel into a block.

You’re not reading the point this user was making. They can build a custom one all they want - but they’ve completely changed how the video player functions & how it functions when viewing posts. The experience is awful.
They don’t need to build a TikTok/instagram clone video player. They can build one that mimics how the stock one functions and how users interact with video posts.
