Where is he using alert controllers?
I noticed it when I changed the AppIcon, but that is actually an Apple Alert Controller and cannot be changed.
So maybe nowhere.
I think the whole point was to use as much first-party stuff as possible to avoid UI breakage when Apple’s design direction changes (and to improve responsiveness).

Ah fair enough, I rebuilt the UIAlertController's action sheet for the same reason.
