I don't know for sure what the guy wrote but I'm guessing he referenced a part of the LN that the anime skipped, when Kishirika looked at Rudeus with her mana-seeing demon eye she said something like: "Your mana pool is enormous, even bigger than Laplace's". This is why she acted all grossed out after looking at him, hope that helped!
Yeah. That's the one thing I'm sad they left out of this bit from the LN.
Is Laplace a common demon name? Slime Tensei used it as well.
Laplace is a mathematician iirc.
Laplace's demon is a well known thought experiment, so that's probably where the references come from.
Laplace is a physicist who proposed that a demon with complete knowledge of the world at present time and laws of physics can compute the state of the world in any time past and future.
