Learning PHP, both solutions here.
The waypoint moving direction in part 2 looked way harder than it actually was! Turned out to be fairly simple after all

Well, regexes have always come more natural to me, though in this case it could have been done in many ways, yes. I love how you did the turning though! Much easier to read than mine for sure.
