Restore AllHide UnarchivedFun fact. Despite there size. Jumping spiders have a shocking amount of intelligence, they can display curiosity, seen to even have little personalities. And are quite harmless to people. They also make small calculations when getting ready to jump. There quite amazing little fellas. If one ever is seemingly looking at you. Chances are it is because it's curious of you
They will also chase laser pointers!
Nice! I remember finding one while working (outdoor job) and stopping to look it in the eye. I could almost see it looking me over, amazing experience to connect with something so small and evolutionarily distant

Here's a jumping spider I took at home, if you wave your finger it will still stare which is really cute.
They do look cute up close.
Wish my camera had better zoom.

Someone can tell me what this spider is while we’re at it ?
Maybe it's a huntsman spider. It doesn't make webs, is usually timid, and eats household pests.
They can actually see the moon! An astronomer who had a bunch in her office did the numbers.
