My summary of the pile of evidence they had against Nick Hillary:

He turned left out of a parking lot.

Did I miss anything?

His 8 pack.

Also his status as the fastest human being alive.

This! 0.4 miles is over 600m, and the world record for the 400m is 43 seconds. So the theory is he ran 50% faster than anyone who has ever lived?

But he does have that 8 pack though, so maybe.

Those 8 packs are fueled with rocket fuel clearly. 8 OF THEM

I'm just now watching the show and holy shit was that line cringey.

It was glossed over in such a way that people wouldn't do the maths. Nick did not run at better than Olympic record time twice through town and NO ONE saw this.

Plentry of men are fit. It doesnt automatically make them Olympic sprinters ffs

She was such a see you next Tuesday. I loved when they added the blurb that she got canned for misconduct again. How can she be "100%" sure when zero real evidence and zero witnesses???

Actually you're missing a ton.

He told police he had no injuries on his feet or legs.

They photograph a big gash on his ankle as well as a swollen ankle.

Nick Hillary admits to having a sprained ankle.

The Police then ask him how he hurt his ankle. He said it was while moving furniture and he didn't know what piece of furniture he hurt it on.

So he's clearly lying to cover something up.

Also, the behavior in the school parking lot while in his car is truly bizarre. He said he was going to watch a game from in his car. At no point does he ever park his car in a position to see the field. He parks it on the side of a bus, drives around a bit and then parks off on the side of the parking lot.

Nick Hillary is unaware of the school cameras so he's caught in another lie here.

He's caught in a third lie when he tells the prosecution that he went "straight home" after doing weird stuff in the parking lot. Nick Hillary is an intelligent man who is under investigation for the midst of a 12 year old boy. This is not a casual conversation. Turning left (which follows young Garrett) is not straight home. This is a third lie. Again, only caught because he did not have knowledge of the school cameras.

“So he’s clearly lying to cover something up.”

And I hope you, too, are never on a jury.

Why else do people lie?

It doesn't even mean he did it, but it does mean he's trying to cover something up.

Back up, my dude.

"he didn't know what piece of furniture he hurt it on...so he's lying..."

I have done countless moves, projects, home repairs, etc..., and hours later have discovered a gash, a bruise, whatever, without a single clue where it came from other than "I guess some time during that project."

To assert that his not remembering exactly what piece of furniture he hurt his ankle on means he MUST be lying is completely specious.

You've sprained your ankle and got a gash on it as well and you don't remember specifically where your injuries occurred?

Not buying that.

If it was a minor scratch sure. But a sprained ankle and a gash that big? Come on now.

That’s your prerogative, but convicting me for murder because of it as a result shouldn’t be considered a valid option for you

No one said it was.

It's the collection of lies and dishonesty coming from Hillary during the whole ordeal.

Irrelevant. He was caught in numerous lies.

Well yes, why didn't he turn right to go home, when he said he went home? He turned left to kill the kid.

Come on man, that evidence was so strong it brought a grown prosecutor to tears.
