Seems like a lot of evidence was left out of the doc?!?! How was the body found? Grass underneath the window? Any other kids he had issues with(sounds like he had a few)? We know NH had issues with Garrett but how volatile was their relationship?
The crazy thing were the cameras. Those were some crazy coincidences!
I agree. Documentary producers all want to have making a murderer to sell. So they don't just show facts any more. They show NH with his family and friends at parks and driving around and shit like that. Forget that, show me the mud photo and NHs shoe size. Show me a man the size of NH climbing out that window, was the screen pushed out far enough for an adult? Have a 12 yo kid jump down and show me how deep the mud prints are. Have a soccer player run the supposed murder path and time it. Show me more crime scene photos, like where his body was and whats up with those needles and such? Document an unsolved murder and stop trying to make every police force into racist framers.
Thank you! This was a horrible documentary. I still know barely anything about the case after watching it.
Maybe they all were in cahoots. Motive the boy molested soccer coaches kid. The cop the coach and friend planned it out. What was weird too is they all lived so close to each other.
Dude I got that feel too! I even felt like "flat tire" couple were sketchy with that story. NOBODY liked that kid, he was that annoying bowl cut kid that makes shitty jokes in class and got held back. Skates around all day with that gay gimmick skateboard.
They could've definitely used another episode to fill in some details. Including what you listed, I've read that NH is no angel and showed up uninvited to Tandy's after they broke up and he refused to leave. I don't think NH did it, but they should have discussed that and the strife between him and Garrett more in my opinion.
There was more detail in some of those documents in the background of certain shots. Like how Garrett was the one who didn’t like NH and made them break up, and that NH had no ill will against the 10 year old bc that kid just did whatever Garrett did. And that Tandy had said NH is controlling and manipulative.
On one hand, NH kinda hit the lottery with a hot white lady in a small town, which is once in a lifetime, but her damn 12 year old son was cock blocking, but on the other hand, what would killing him do? Did NH really think that if Garrett was out of the picture, Tandy could finally be in a relationship with him? Maybe.
I also think Garrett would have yelled NH’s name instead of just “no” or “help”. Or maybe he screamed “Nick”? 🤔
Tandy woke up in the middle of the night with NH staring down at her and he wasn't invited. Then, it happens again. Why wouldn't she report this incident to the police? Obviously, he didn't want the relationship to end. The realization that his relationship with Tandy is over & hatred for the 12 year old son whom he blames.
JJ was in a relationship with Tandy and then he finds out, she's dating NH too. He tells NH's girlfriend out of hatred for the man who stole his girl. JJ threatens NH. Obviously, he feels he lost his gal Tandy. JJ is humiliated beyond belief. Tandy and NH hit the skids, it's over. JJ to the rescue, apartment hunting and he's big man on campus to the rescue. Come to find out, Tandy filed complaint against JJ due to her fear of him as well, the safety of her children.
It's obvious who murdered Garrett Phillips.
She gave him a key and they weren't totally broken up yet. Maybe it was a booty call? It doesn't seem like she suspected him, more so that she was led to that conclusion.
Wow, I hope you realize how racist it is to say scoring a hit white lady is like hitting the lottery.
