Slime hutch. Waste of time, money, and resources because I couldn't care less about slimes.
I did it once to see what it was like. Thought "ok, that's nice, but not for me".
Now I can't even remember why I thought the first half of that statement.
I’ve literally only built it one time and I demolished it the very next day.

Slime hutches are amazing if you have a pig-based farm. Can never have too many truffle makers!

Probably for the slime needed for oil makers?
Although if you have one of the foraging buffs from level 10, all your foraged items are iridium quality. That includes the truffle mushrooms. So they're worth the same, if not more, just plain than they are making them into oil. So the oil makers aren't worth it.
If you have the artisan perk, the oil is still worth more. Admittedly, not a lot more, but it is a bit more.
Ahhh gotcha. I don't usually go the artisan route!
It's worth a little more with artisan, but for me it's not worth the trouble of making the oil presses. As a bonus, the foraging ability saves a ton of bag space for not getting different qualities of everything all the time.

Harvesting the slime balls is digital equivalent of popping bubble wrap, I can't get enough of it!

Oh, you're doing it all wrong. You have to get more slime eggs to put into a slime incubator in town. Then you can have slimes multiplying like crazy and they take over and start becoming part of the community. They even yell at you for going through the trash and talk to the neighbors.

Every time I try this I come back the next day to see that one of the villagers has pathed right through where my incubator was and destroyed it lol, I kinda gave up after the 4th attempt
