No. I’ve lived in Maine for years. This just reinforces everything I’ve ever seen and heard. This goes back to when this state was 99.99% white. Racist cop aside. By Maine standards Lewiston has always been a dump.
It reinforced everything you already wanna see and hear. Lewiston is a dump, but being a dump and being unsafe are two different things. My wife is born and raised in Maine, I've been a bunch of times. I also lived in Boston for 10 years and she lived there for 15 years. There's a huge difference between actually unsafe areas of America and places where a few minor crimes happen and white people think they live in Mogadishu.
