I can tell it's total cope because you think there's gonna be a housing pullback. Theres not. Too many sidelined buyers waiting to get in the moment rates drop more.

Yeah the comparison to the housing market is pretty detached. Everyone needs housing so a much broader market no one needs Pokémon cards.

scratches neck vigorously while drooling Speak for yourself, I need my plastic covered cardboard! 😆 I’m joking, but in all seriousness if the economy tanks anyone would have to be mentally ill to sell out then, there will be nobody willing to pay msrp. I can remember (show my age) getting diamond and pearl during the recession for like 5$ for a booster box. Kmart would do anything to sell anything. They’d layaway a 5$ box of pokemon cards to you, no shit. It was crazy. But also then there was no money.

No argument there - but that's been true the entire time it's pumped up

People who can’t pay rent aren’t moving the needle on markets.

So if people can’t afford rent…how they gonna buy a house?

People are seeing folks who bought a few years ago underwater and struggling to keep up with maintenance costs. Owning a house ain’t the easy win it once was.

As has been said these aren't the people moving the market. They're tiny minnows fighting over scraps
