Why does everything start with a phrase in English? Don’t mean to sound offensive, I’ve never seen another two languages do this, other than my native Spanish and English.
Edit: sorry you all took this as being “aggressive!” This was this first time I’ve seen another two languages morphing together other than my two and I was honestly excited. ✌🏻

Because your comment was ignorant. You lack knowledge about the country and yet you throw in a wild ignorant aggressive question. You won't use like three ?s if you were just genuinely curious. That's how it is here in the Philippines bruh. Amazing isnt it? Usually our normal convo here is a mix of tagalog, spanish and english words used in the sentence. Like: "Kamusta? Sorry late ako." And oftentimes we are forced to use borrowed words from Spanish and English that have no equivalent in the tagalog language. Examples: kutsara, lamesa, silya, hotdog, cake, airport. Language evolves overtime so does our vocabulary.
Lamesa= hapag Silya= upuan Airport = paliparan
You can just ask without being arogante.
It's called code-switching. common in countries with two or more languages in use
lol just move out of your bubble. A lot of other Asian countries do this pretty normal too. Chinglish, Korean+English , Bahasa+English, and in this case Taglish.
