You can still do both. Even in a squatter like that, innocent people still lived there and are trying to survive the best they can.

Well, they aren't magnanakaws, murderers, or addicts, but completely following the law and process in the Philippines won't really help you survive if you're so poor that you live in squatters.

As someone whose partner came from actual squatters, sila na nagsasabi na shtty mga ugali ng tao. Pamilya nila is one of the very few na matitino at syempre ginagatasan sila ng mga kapitbahay nila. Binibigyan na ng trabaho gagawan pa nila ng paraan dayain yung tatay niya. May problema talaga ang ugali ng pilipino in general. The nicer you are to them, lalo ka nila didiskartehan. Medyo naive ka pa. The best we can do is improve the country overall as the educated people.
