And? Who cares, the original commenter said they never play online, only with their friends.
I understand your sentiment but he is playing online to play with his friends. If the devs noticed it wouldn't matter if it was just with friends or not. Unfortunately devs don't care whether you are doing something that is hurting no one, breaking EULA is an easy way to Perma ban and the devs ruining all the fun. I agree this guy isn't doing anything wrong, but the devs won't really see it that way.
Fuck the devs, honestly. They are mega against modding, yet their game has like 8 maps in total that get super repetitive.
The game is still in early access with new maps and ghosts coming sometime early next year. They are pretty consistent with QoL updates. Honestly the maps don't really change the gameplay. The game isn't made fun by the maps. It's made fun by the dumb shit you do with your friends. They also may be mega against modding again because their game is still EA, and because the game is coming to consoles with cross-plat. If PC people get to modding it separates their community.
Mega against modding so they can probably sell DLC later down the line...
At least their game isn't broken up immediately with dlc announced before the games even released like 99% of paradox games or many other triple A titles nowadays. It's all perspective honestly. Just because their against modding doesn't mean you can't play the game using a "Lan" setup like people used to do all the time for older games. Mod what you want, set up a "lan" game and have as much modded fun as you want. Just be prepared to deal with whatever consequences that may entail if you get caught I guess.
