The bench damage would be game ending but the odds of getting 6 energy on it without a very lucky Misty is slim to none.
Yeah and with Char Y killing everything, no mega can afford to setup that much.
It's a win more effect. If you got 6 energy on blastoise you most likely misty flipped as I cannot think of anything that survives 3 to 4 turns of 130 dmg.
Maybe you stack energy on him because enemy has charizard on bench and putting blastoise into active is gg. But I'd think the char is just waiting on heat more to ping you then...
And I don't see pairing blast with greninja as double stage2 is ... yeah.
So he needs something that ramps energy and something that can be in the active and put pressure.
Best case he operates as a water arceus/alteria but with the trade off of no bench required and can misty to gg but it's a stage2 vs basic and stage1
