Voter disenfranchisement at its finest. This is what red states do to keep their populace in misery and under control.

Probably why they want the voter data from Democratic states illegally given to the federal government. They will start a fake draft with all the men from blue states to rig the future elections.

Still the people cant let them do it in any state. We are all in this together more MAGA people are dropping off their movement and seeing the truth. We cant let any state fall. Everyone do your parts where you can

More people in Ohio voted in the last three presidential election than ever before. There isn’t a disenfranchisement problem.

It is still disenfranchisement.

You mailed your vote on time. You gave it to an official body of the US government (federal, not state) who accepted it. Processing time is a real thing. Why should your vote be dismissed because your politicians decided not to fund the processing to be done in a timely manner?

Just love how you clearly explained the problem and they commence to circle jerk while completely ignoring the issue and calling it a non-issue. 10/10

You can request an absentee ballot 90 days prior to an election. Why would you not fill it out immediately and send it back? If voting is seriously that important why not do it immediately?

Why does that matter? It's post marked, period. It's submitted and accepted by the government. Now you guys are coming up with excuses why the people shouldn't considerer it submitted and accepted?

What’s the issue with honoring postmark date? Most people don’t vote immediately also, that’s a pretty silly expectation

Because its more fun to be outraged about everything.

This is a non issue. Get your ballot in on time, or go vote in person. Really simple stuff here.

They know why they dont want in person voting. Its the same reason they don’t want illegals sent back. It lowers their chances of winning an election.

If it’s mailed on time, it’s on time. Works that way in most situations where something is mailed. It’s a non issue. Really simple stuff here lol

It’s ok. They have no policy except ORANGE MAN BAD.

But why not give people more days? VoTeR SuPpReSsIoN! What’s five days vs four? Or a week? VoTeR SuPpReSsIoN!

You poor fools. I hope you have the days/election cycles you deserve

Voting alone is not a sufficient measure to understand disenfranchisement.

I would encourage you to learn in what ways people can be disenfranchised by this law. For instance- the elderly, the people who are really disabled, those who lack secure access to transportation, those who are economically disadvantaged- and sometimes people fall into some, if not all of these categories. Sometimes people have such great struggles that they need the extra time. And last but not least- military personnel do depend on absentee ballots and are often transient (TDY’s/PCS) etc. Laws like these selectively ensure swaths of people miss out. I highly encourage you to go out there and meet with people, learn from different organizations, you’d be surprised what you learn.
