Idk what the hell you're shipping but that's insane, those boxes must be bigger than people. I've shipped literal Christmas trees across the entire country and paid less.
Remember when packages are found during transit with the wrong postage they charge the counter rates, not the rates he would have gotten if he’d purchased the right postage online before shipping. Counter rates can be ridiculously higher than what we pay online for the same size/weight box.
