Ok, but you're wrong though. Things have changed, OLED has improved. They don't look like shit after 2 years.
It's pretty much a non-issue for most brand new panels but they should last 3 to 5 years minimum with very little burn-in. In that time will just get a new panel probably with a much higher refresh rate, higher brightness etc for a lower cost especially as the tech ages. The only true "ultimate" panel is micro-LED which is still vaporware for 99.999% of folks.
Imagine being scared of buying a monitor hahahaha
You can yap all you want about how the technology works, you're still wrong about burn-in. You were right 15 years ago, but modern OLEDs do not look like shit after a few years, even with heavy use.
