What all did you get directly from LSU? Was it scholarships or student loans?
So far nothing at least when I look on my workday the balance hasn’t shifted and I’m so stressed rn
So under financial aid you have nothing listed as being accepted? All of my aid has been listed in Workday since earlier this summer, and everything directly from LSU went into effect on August 19th.
Did you ever get an email from LSU with a list of aid? All of mine came in through emails. I didn’t accept student loans but they are still listed on Workday and I have the ability to take them. If you don’t even have loans listed as an option on Workday, then something is definitely off.
I would call Bursar’s Office over and over until you get some answers. You could also schedule an appointment on Navigate with your financial advisor. I did an appointment with an academic advisor last week and it was pretty helpful, so I’m sure the financial one could be of good use as well.
Yes there’s absolutely nothing there…I’m new to all this so maybe I’m not going to the right places? But I absolutely do not see anything to accept just what I owe🥲
From Workday LSU home page, follow these steps:
Click the three lines/Menu tab, Click the drop down arrow on the student tab, Click “Financials Hub.”
Then, click “View Financial Aid.” There should be an “award year” box where you have to input an option. Choose “2025-2026 Award Year.” Click OK at the bottom once that is selected.
Once on the page, you should see a bunch of charts with various information. One of these sections will be labeled as “Awards Breakdown.” This lists what each of your awarded aids are and how much they cover. For example, I have a Resident Award, Alumni Award, TOPS award, and Student Loans listed.
Although I did not accept student loans, they are still listed in the awards breakdown chart, just with a “Declined” under the status bar. If you see NOTHING on this awards breakdown chart, then something is wrong with your Workday.

Just go by the Financial Aid office... in person.
And bring your laptop.
So you can show them all these unanswered emails if you have to, but also so you can show them what you're seeing in Workday.

No problem, I’ve had multiple fights with Workday over the past few months, so I understand your frustration. I assume something is wrong because I don’t think LSU ever chooses NOT to offer loans to students, so if you aren’t even seeing loans, then you have an issue.
The dean has nothing to do with this
