It's true. Skinner is a marshmallow. Does hit much, does defend much. He can score.
Devil's advocate take: he's sat through all but 1 game of his first ever playoffs run after 1000 games. Watched the team hit and defend like crazy. The coach comes to you and tells you what they need when you go in. I've gotta think that for maybe (if we assume this series and the final goes 7 games each, and hyman can't play) he decides for 10 games he can defend and hit and play like the coach and team need.
Look at bouchard, stetcher, Skinner, janmark. All where so so in the regular season. And have picked up their game in the playoffs. Skinner could be number 5 in that group.
They don't hate Jeff Skinner, they recognize he is one dimensional
Nobody hates anyone. If you can't see that Knoblach has a strong grasp on his troops and who to deploy, then you should re-evaluate your opinions. I too hope Skinner gets in but if he doesn't it would be for good reasons.
Speed and size is why Kap is in over JSkinner… knob could definitely double down on that front.
Max Jones had moments in the regular season. Maybe the post season brings more good moments out from the admittedly inconsistent player. It has for a lot of our depth
