He said a lot without saying anything. What do we do to change? I understand the feeling, I understand the desire to change for good, but how?
He's just pointing out the problem and not claiming to know the answer.
By doing the good that is in front of you. The world's not going to change overnight, one person can't do anything to change society, but you can make a positive impact on someone's day, it's not much but it's something.
Well, the world is how it is because of all our individual actions. For example, residential buildings (the houses we live in) release as much greenhouse gases to the atmosphere as all cars, bikes and buses combined. [source - ourworldindata.org]
So, when describing a problem, the solution must be addressed. Or at least, that how I see it.
My personal point of view, is that we should invest more on nuclear energy, because it can provide with the enormous amount of energy we consume with relative very low emissions.
Well, if you want to say something everybody knows and wants, you either don’t talk or propose something new in the matter. It’s an utopian shit talking. I can say that all people should respect each other and that there shouldn’t be wars, crimes, oppressions, violence, and then something about Hitler or Stalin. And what for? Isn’t that like thousands year old knowledge that is repeated at every single corner of our lives?
Does this man do anything to change that? There are people all over the world trying to change world for better, by improving technology, education, living of other humans and animals. And he probably is just talking this cheap shit
You asked why he should offer solutions. I answered by describing why he shouldn’t be taken seriously without providing them. No matter who he is.
