Video has been edited to make it sound longer than it actually is
Yep. You can hear the noise of the water repeating. The repeating stops when it hits the ground and becomes irregular again.
Try seeing with your ears
Teach me your skill, learned one
The rock is only visible the first few seconds anyway, so they didn’t need to loop the video. Just point camera at dark hole for a while and then loop the audio to make it seem like it took forever to fall
I was wondering why the audio was looping
they should have thrown a Molotov cocktail for better representation of the deepness.
Confirmed via audacity
How is this not the top comment? It’s so clearly and poorly edited.
And it still gets 5k up votes. People are so dumb.
That's the first thing I picked up on too. The weird water loop
The whole cave system is about 2km deep, that ravine might be about 100m deep though. still a lot.
Audio engineer here. Came here looking for this comment. This is accurate. The loop begins around 7 seconds in.
I don't think it has...
It has, listen to the water, its cycles unnaturally. Also this video has been posted multiple times and many people have pointed this out, so I can’t really take credit.
So you really don't know then. You are just taking the word of someone else. Did those people provide any evidence? The water sounds fine to me.
Do you find yourself taking the losing side often? Someone in this thread has already posted a link to a site that debunked it. Cool your horses buddy
Sorry for not scouring every comment. Do you find yourself unable to express yourself clearly? The comment I was addressing was yours. The incomplete one. You make a claim, say you cant take credit for it, and then make no reference to who does.
You must be a blast at parties
