People are delusional or have been living a rich life if they claim bullying doesn't happen in India. I have been on the firing line, I know how it works. The only thing is no one is held accountable for bullying.but given the vast population in India, such system isn't viable unfortunately
shouldnt be given a pass for being a douche tho
That's the problem, no one can verify if a person has been a douche before😕
Now they can
Wohi chutye keise toh corporate mei manager bann jaate hei
This...actually because society views people who talk a lot, catches and argues with social cues as fast as possible are seen as active and if someone who is doing anything incredible job but chooses to stay quiet are seen as dumb and dull. 🤷♀️we cant change people's minds
Yoo brian moser pfp
Idk why but rich schools have more bullying as far as I have experienced... I grew up in a decent local school not the fancy AC wale schools I didn't face much bullying
Also the thing is the system is so corrupt you can pay and escape a bully strike or you can be blackmailed easily with that system...
yes, all the bullying thing i have heard has always been in the rich schools, i studied in a pretty normal school, and well, we had our fun and banter but there was no bullying, if some guy bullied some kid, the teachers beat the shit out those kids and suspended them lol.
See the problem is that these rich school parents usually have a fragile ego and lots of connections so its almost impossible for the management to take action without facing consequences
You’re wrong. You just didn’t notice it
I was in a private school and there were rich and middle class people...not the ultra rich. And there wasn't any bullying. Ultra rich school is full of snobs from what I heard.
But there was bullying in government school. I begged my parents to change schools after a year.
Middle class and upper middle class ppl are humble... they are greatful for that they are and have and don't look down on others
You’re absolutely wrong
I studied in a school which took about 1 lakh per year fees and almost 3.5 lakh per year fees (No 1 school of my state with 10 acre+ Campus and a good international standing)
I never faced bullying in either of the schools, Never saw people bully each other.
Rich school = Horrible bullying is a movie trope, or perhaps i am the lucky one.
But from what ive seen
Teachers from the rich school were worse at teaching than the teacher at the mid school i was in.
And bullying is horrible in senik / army schools, despite contrary believes.
Dont believe in random tropes and look into reality! The ragging cases in army schools is literally terrifying
Have studied in both kinds of schools, this was my experience as well.
Indeed it does happen and unfortunately, I'm guilty of being a silent bystander myself. Looking back I wish I tried to help that person instead of being purposely ignorant.
bro in india people bully in college istg this is my first Sem and I am so scared of college the so called cool people keep bullying me and it’s mentally so exhausting can’t even change section cause of enrolment number
I was the guy who reached out to the bullied guy. He said everything was alright and he didn't want any help. I proceeded to be the silent bystander. 🥲🥲 I felt guilty nonetheless.
Bullying/raging happen, we all face it and we all do it, in India reporting it is such a big taboo that unless someone die from it, it won't come out.
I've never seen someone getting bullied in person.
But that doesn't mean bullying doesn't happen. Bullies need to be held accountable
True dude. It's way worse. Once i fought a couple of guys who ganged up on me every day in school and the teacher caught me, and made me sit the whole week on the damn floor. It was a downright abusive environment. And lil me didn't even know it was wrong because "Teacher said so, so i probably deserve it"
in my experience introverts gets bullied the most i dont fit in either i was bullied and Faught back ofc had been beaten till i cried and had black spots but i made sure they cried too then it stopped ironically those bullies were the best friends i made after that and being in a group protects you from further bullying.
and it is the case with many who had to shift schools due to reasons, i shifted 5, below 7th grade hands work and above it words. teachers donot take actions and it goes the same if you start bullying the bully also bullying is common in rich neighborhood school from my experience idk why also girls get bullied in such schools which is didnt find in semi urban area schools...
U should never have been friends with the bullies. It's a tactic to try to improve their image and disguise it as a quarrel between friends.
no not like that, we used to play together and eat lunch together, it was in 2nd / 3rd grade so i dont think any of them thought of it like that i even got farewell gifts from them when i was changing schools again.
Oh. Then it's alright. They were really immature then...
Bhai in my school some guy threatened to grope a girl, and then he actually did it. Police got involved but his father was some big shot with a lot of money so nothing happened to the guy. Luckily he's passed out now but I genuinely used to fear being near him.

Hide UnarchivedHonestly, social life is almost dormant in india because some sincerity is part of our culture and thats why people just do it for the sake of doing it even a criminal would welcome their guests warmly and not forget to ask for food. And communication skills for Indians have no sense of patience, dont say this is not true because people are forcefully always looking for advantage from a person whom they are befriending.
Mereko, dark jokes ke naam pe ST chidate hai
The thing is bullying is very common in India it just has been normalised that all teachers bully children into joining their tuitions . students are dick to someone who is even slightly more poor than them and I have also seen parents bullying the teachers to give their son or daughter more marks . It's pathetic and sadly it would not change.
You never got parents involved?
Yes because the bullying we see doesn't seem as 'theatric' or dramatic for us to think it's bullying. Come on, I've seen guys beating someone in the school campus for the lamest of reasons, casteism in students, colourism etc etc
Its not delusional or living a rich life if claimed that bullying doesnt happen lmao, strict rules are made in korea because probably one out of every 3-5 gets bullied, in india its as low as 1/10.
Sorry you had to go thru that shit though, if never faced it nor seen ever , is it traumatic? How werent you able to fight back? Sorry this just piques my interest a little.
