Ethan Zuckerman is credited with inventing the pop-up ad.

I remember he regretted his invention in the mean time?
Yeah I think he did apologize for it. I hope he finds some peace in his old age, even as I frantically try to close those pop ups only to find out the article I want to read is paywalled.
I could be wrong, but this reminds me of the guy that helped create Assassin's Creed apologizing for making players climb towers lol
Edit: yep lol
No way that's the worst you came up with
Well, there is Mariah Carey, who cursed the world with “All I Want for Christmas is You.”
And George Michael, who inflicted Last Christmas on the world.
Blame the UK for that one.
Thank you, I appreciate the correction.
Ill pay this one
I’m honestly shocked that no American has said nuclear bombs yet…
I'm nostalgic for the days when pop-ups were the worst things about the internet
What about mcafee?
The pop up ad is frankly hardly the worst kind of ad there is nowadays
Detonating two nuclear bombs on civilian population can’t really top that.
Ending the largest and most brutal global conflict in a matter of days.
If that helps you sleep at night.
he looks like I thought he looked
He looks like exactly a person who would invent pop-up ads.
Yeah I’m not sure he even cracks the top 1000 out of the US
I noticed recently that whenever their name has syllables that sound ugly together like this, they seem ugly and evil physically and spiritually too
